Volvo S40

Anyone else have a hard on for these? I think it'd be my ideal daily driver. Well, it would be my only car, but damn, they are so beautiful.

I like the s60's just a little more. The slightly larger size makes it flow better IMO. Ive always had a thing for Volvo's, theyre pretty sweet cars.

I like the look of them. I was telling my friend that I thought they looked nice and he said "but it's still a volvo?" He had nothing bad to say about volvo to back up his position. Does volvo make crappy cars? I've never really looked into it?

The newer ones are lookin rather nice, theres some serviceguy in my area that has a euro s60 wagon. Looks friggin amazing.

I'll admit I've been taking a liking to the newer Volvos, their designs just keep getting better and better, and they are no longer looked at as the conservative uber-safe car company (at least not so much).

s40s are hawt, but theyre kind of cramped feeling, even in the front seats. i drove a 2002ish one, theyre fairly fun to drive (somewhere between a honda and a bmw in terms of handling and accelleration). too many buttons and too much technology for me though.

The current model is completely different from the previous one. We traded this in for a 2003.

yesterday I saw S60 T5R, I noticed that it was lowered and had 17" wheels, bbs looking. I talked to a guy, he had it on GC's, chip, exhaust, intake, reworked head, better intercooler, that thing was a beast.... sounded meaner then WRX STi w/exhaust! The guy also tracks the car somewhere....

Volvo's are the shit, I have been working for Volvo for 3 yrs. That car is still a Volvo, Ford just takes all of Volvo's ideas and safety features and puts it into their line, ford fivehundred and freestyle.
