Well you're a royal fucking asshole. If someone opened their door into my bump strip I'd be pissed, if they did it repeatedly and not only refused to fix it, but basically said that 'that's why it's there and I should suck it up' I don't even know how I'd react.

If his driver's door is next to your passenger door, ask him if he'll trade assigned spots with you. That way, your driver's door opens to his passenger door, and he presumably won't be hitting your car anymore.
