yes, lots of editing. Using basic tools helps people understand what needs to happen and everyone is familiar with simple tools. It makes every job they do seem simple enough. They do use air tools but mainly behind the scenes.
They also did a green on green M tech interior convertible as well."I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj

It was either Wheeler Dealers or Deals On Wheels. Check Youtube."I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj

Ah, I just watched the DB7 episode where Ed uses some technically advanced wheel alignment software to fix a 'squidgie' handling issue... and the cost for that fix? 0 So they do use pro shop-only tools from time-to-time. He also 'hired' a smoke machine to track down a 'perished' door seal. I never thought to try that. I do love the show, but I lost some faith in it when they fixed up the E30 'estate' and made no mention of checking or replacing the timing belt on a car with no known history.R135 /// 1990 Alpinweiß II 325is

I can see using non-air tools, but I was saying how he uses an open end wrench to get a nut off when its much faster to use a ratchet. thats what they were invented for.. He rarely even uses ratchets.
Anyone see the skyline episode where Ed got to drift the car at the end, and was driving like crap?

Also catering towards the vast majority of people who only have hand tools.
air tools are so loud and would ruin the shot. and on many of the small car, the only thing that fits to remove stuff are wrenches.
P.S. i have 0 air tools and i have do huge projects without them just fine.
