      it's from canada, specifically canadian east coast.. it's probably rusty.

      certainly worth a look, but 7 hours? make a weekend of it and see some sights or something. :p

        This would either be:

        1. a great triumph, worthy of being told to many people over many beers;

        2. a medium sized disaster, worthy of being told to a moderate number of people over a surpisingly large number of beers.

        The choice is yours. Rest assured, either way, there will be beer.

            For some reason I thought it was a late '91 change, but it seems like it wasn't until 12/91 (at that point, obviously MY92) that the change to the B38/420G was made.

            So it is one of three things: a. 420G swap on a M5 3,6 (which I'm not 100% sure is possible without some real hassle,) b. a l'typo, or c. le'fraud!!

            Agreed. The uncertainty from me is due to the US ellipsoids and bumper moldings, etc. Seems like a very oddball car for any number of reasons, but it might be worth checking out/learning some Franch.

              Doesn't matter. As described above, there are zero 3.6l 6 speeds from the factory. It's a scam, a swap, or a misprint.

              Btw, OP... Those wheels are worth about 1/2 the asking price...

                    What hartge bits is he claiming? I didn't think hartge messed with the E34 M5, mechanically anyway. If you know that you won't have any trouble bringing it to the US, I would jump on it. S38s are not THAT insane to maintain unless you have to completely rebuilt, then comparable to s14 but worth every penny.

                        I'd buy it. I'd bring $4000 cash and a truck and trailer. Worst case scenario, you're out gas money but up on some awesome sight seeing. Bring a fishing rod to make a hell of a road trip out of it.
                        buy the shit....
