Hope you find your car. Is there anyway people can put a JPS locator on their cars? Seams like if an IPhone can have one, you should be able to buy some sort of GPS location device for your ride.

    EDIT:
Feel like anyone with an expensive custom car should have one of these.

@OP wish you the best of luck recovering your car. I love the M3 verts, reps are still fine by me!

Personally who made it does not matter. I will also keep your thread clean of any Vlad bashing comments. Send me a PM of anyone that starts shitting in here.

      One week timeout.

Lol. Doubt it would be hard to track a car like this down...with those parts, etc...

So was it sitting outside the shop and got stolen or did someone break in to the shop and take it?

I can imagine it being quite a heist if someone broke in, would be weird if they'd only take one car if that's the case..

...there seems to be more reports than usual of stolen e30's or parts lately..

x2. Shouldn't a shop's insurance plan cover this? Especially a shop like Vlad's that houses some rare/expensive cars.

Was anything else stolen at/from the shop? Maybe inside job? Those are the first things I would check. Also, is there any survaillance at said shop ie, cameras, guards or guard dogs?
I would think that with a high end shop like Young's, bringing in full restoration of cars type of money, there would be alarms or more security set up to cover such events.

Just throwing my $0.02 out there, good luck OP.

Whatever the story turns out to be, I'm hoping for recovery, or at least insurance so you can start over. Good luck.

this is not a car that a police cruiser can drive past and not notice like a grey civic. our cars stand out like a sore thumb. that car is stashed or on it's way out of state, maybe on a container ship.
