I double park my M3 every where I go. Yeah I risk some guy being mad at me and doing something bad to it but I'm usually so far out from store enterance that the risk is minimal and I think people respect the M.

Damn you guys are unlucky. In a bit over a year, I've gotten zero door dings. My dads had his e30 for a solid year and a half and 15,000 miles of daily driving and he's only gotten one tiny ding from some asshat pushing (seemed intentional) a shopping cart into his rear fender.

I somehow survived high school without having my DD dinged. Instead, it was egged outside my house....twice. With my e30 I always park away from other cars, people are too big of dicks. At college, I almost never park in any of the lots, I trust no one there lol

If I ever came to my car and saw that it had any sort of damage, and a nearby car was clearly at fault, I would either wait for them to come out if possible, and take a lot of pics...or admit that that would never get anything done and key the shit out of whatever they're driving.

^this is what i said I do, it doesn't get people pissed at your shit if you park far out from any store entrance because nobody is trying to park furthur away from the door

I had to parallel park my DB vert pretty close behind a newish acura with plastic bumpers next to my house. i was walking back from the store and was about to give him a few more inches to get out, that is until he backed into the front of my car. I just laughed and kept walking.

At one point, I knew every scratch that my truck had.

There have been a few times that I noticed new dings and scrapes, and the paint left on my truck matched the car next to me and returned the favor x10.

The best is when I was leaving a store, I had got several text messages. When I got in my truck I started it and was reading them while it warmed up. Must have been atleast two minutes. Mind you, my truck is rather loud.

As soon as I start backing up, BOOM. I stop and then realize that the dumb bitch next to me had slung her door open hard enough to bounce off my truck twice. She threw her hands up like I had drawn my weapon on her (even though I didnt, must have been the look on my face) then she got out and quickly walked inside the store. No apology, nothing. I checked my fresh damage to my door, and grabbed a bolt and gave her door a 6" long scrape that went to the metal.

I havent even left the e30 in a public parking lot since I have painted it
