    Presto! A Rear M3 Seat!

My upholstery shop told me my rear seat had been converted to look like an M3 rear seat but who ever did it, did the worst job. Without any extra charge to getting my seats already re done, they went ahead on their own and re shaped it to look exactly like a rear M3 seat. How amazing is that?

He said he can do this for all regular E30 rear seats. He can convert it over to an M3 seat. Sorry didnt get a price to do it.

I'm curious to see how they looks once covered. I assume leather or vinyl? Looks like the foam has too many lumps at edges to use cloth. You would see all the edges of the foam sheet.

Intriguing. If it costs less to do than an M3 rear seat, that would be a great alternative.

Just of the seat with the PO's seat cover job on but not of the foam just by itself before the upholstery shop did their thing. I never knew it was that way, all new news to me.
                      Here it is before.

the only problem would be to locate the rear seatbelt plastic holder thing. Don't think you can buy that. looks like it shoud turn out pretty nice.

Didn't look too bad before, but hey; I've never done upholstering, so I probably don't know what I'm talking about

Excited to see the final product

Would be really cool if they could sell that as a kit with leather/etc.

I think you could just remove single receptacle and move the double one to the middle.
