    school me on 1 Series

    A 2013 128i is beginning to seem appealing to me and I suspect 2013 will be the last year of an inline six in this model. What are your thoughts, guys and gals?

              were fixing a 2011 128i
              it looks like it was in some sort of high speed accident but the owner said it was hit in a parking lot at low speed.

                  -128i is pretty slow
                  -I'd never own another n54/n55 motor

                          The 1M is double the price and basically a collector's car now. I don't really see how you recommend the 1M to someone that is looking into a 128i.

                              when the opportunity arises I will one day buy a 135i. not so sure id throw down the cash for a 128 tho.

                                      135i. You will get very bored of that 128i.
                                      1989 325i - 2.7i, Holset H1C, 60lb injectors, whodwho MS-PNP.

                                          also fwiw a early 08 135 with close to 100k miles can be had for somewhere in the 10k price range.

                                          a lot of car for the money imo. I would never buy one new.
