Often times when I go to a car meet, "car guys" will be talking about how they spent 10 hours polishing their car and had XYZ shop install one or two beauty parts on their car.

My car looks EXACTLY the same on the outside since I bought it but almost everything internally is brand new, built/replaced by myself.

I always laugh at the guys who list their speakers as a mod. How many hp is one speaker good for?

If it's only horsepower you care about, you'll be happier looking elsewhere

Oooooo I hate when people bring in P-cars to have shit installed, then they act all like, yeah, I did this, this, this to the car....and half the time I have to find the parts and price them out and shit. I'm like youuuu didn't do shit but write a check. Half the time they flake because it's expensive......asswipes.

I just laugh at people that list their mods in general.

I think it's helpful people who list mods...especially when posting a picture because you know the next question is going to be....what are you ________ on? Where did you get the ___________

I'm more of a fan of driving than building.
Replace what needs to be replaced, tires, gas. Boom! Drive the shat out of that motherfocker.
There are some awesome builds here nonetheless. I don't really care about other cars, maybe a 2002, e21 here and there.

I installed a ZHP illuminated/weighted shift knob today, took me 4 hours to get it on... I forgot that there was like this allen screw or something to tighten it or something. I think I'm going to gain at least 3-5hp more from it. What do you guys think?

I'm trying to get roughly 350-467hp from my N/A M20, if I install a magnaflow muffler and "high flow cat", along with a K&N filter it should give me like 25-65hp gain right?

na bro you'll get at least 70 out of that, if you use the right tune and sticker to go along with it.

This is much worse for my truck.

                            Acquire truck
                            Add smokestack
                            Add rebel flag
                            Turn up fuel pump

                            'Modded' Wahoo!

Note: I live 20 minutes from Tennessee so I get a lot of nice waves/gawking.

As long as you have those supporting mods, an ebay chip should bring you really close to your goal I think

Fuhhhhhhhhh but like dude.... my whole rear windshield is like one big sticker on sticker orgy yo. My mechanic said atleast 72.25hp for that alone. I'm going to have him tune it but he said it might fry the piston rings...
