I signed up a year ago and its time to renew, but besides getting to drive the Maryhill Loops, I havent had any benefit. Longtime members, let me know where the perks are to paying this membership fee.
Benefits to being a CCA member?

Social events, drives, OEM parts discount, networking, meets/shows, etc. Lots of stuff if you have an active chapter.1989 325iC Zinnoberrot -
I was a member before the internet changed everything. Now, you pretty much pay for the roundel and a small discount on parts at overpriced dealerships. The e30 days are long gone and all the tech articles are in the archives or enthusiast companion. It would be more worth it for new bmw owners."I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj

It seems that usually when you see and e30 for sale and its owned by a CCA member they are higher priced. Maybe the buyer thinks since the owner is part of a BMW club then the car is worth more or something...

It is. CCA peeps generally keep better care of their cars than Billy Bob who slammed his car up on Clist to get more money for meth.1974.5 Jensen Healey : 2003 330i/5Comment

Ive been a member for ~7 years. The only real perk has been Roundel. The discounts cant beat Blunt...not even close. Our local BMWCCA meets are either track junkies or very late model owners. For years, I was the only e30 there that was dd'ed. But then again, that my local scene. I rarely go to BMWCCA website/forum. I will say the probably the biggest (and my favorite) vintage show close to me (The Vintage) was funded alot by the club. I also had a spotlight in one issue of Roundel so that was worth something too. ;)Comment

I also got it for Maryhill and am beginning to wonder the same. I do hope to get into more HPDEs and such events, and many are exclusive to club members or carry a premium for non-members, so that's +1 benefit in addition to the sticker and Roundel subscription.Comment

I let my membership lapse last year because I felt it was a waste. I don't care much for Roundel other than when my buddy's photography gets published in it, and all of the social events are pretty lame too. I only renewed my membership because you are now required to be a CCA member to Autocross and do HPDEs with the CCA (at least in my region anyway).-AlexComment
