that rear valence exhaust cut out is very questionable.... why does it have provisions for dual pipe when the 318is had single

It Enthusiast Auto Group http://www.enthusiastauto.com/ They are on the high end but most of the time there cars have been gone over very well with a super fine tooth comb.

If you think that was a nutty price they still have a 99 mile 95 mile E36 M3 Lightweight for 99K that to me is plain nutty.

these guys are retarded. theres no way anyone in there right mind would pay e30 m3 price for a 318is with TAN interior.

Its a nice car but its worth maybe 8k max and thats only because it has super low miles.

also yes, that has to be a 325i/is valence. No 318is ever came with a dual cutout for exhaust like that

Really nice clean e30. You know what they say, its worth whatever someone is willing to pay. I just picked up a time capsule with 68k on clock, paid nowhere near that.

                Must have been rear ended.
                Questionable indeed.

The autocheck is clean, but I don't think they checked this car out very well. It looks to have been a single owner NY car all its life until purchased in April 2013 (at auction?). There's been 4 miles added to the odometer since then.

Why are all m42 cars so overpriced? This is beyond the worst.. but ive seen plenty of clean 318s go for 5-6k, and then you see an eta or 325i go for under that in the same condition.

Not a fan of the m42 engine myself simply because of the maintenance aspect of it. But I respect the goals of its design.

That saide the e30 chassis was refined to its pinnacle efficiency over its m20 with the m42 brother in terms weight and power thereby providing an economical and fun to drive car. There is a strong market for that type of vehicle otherwise BMW would not have released it.

Say what you want, but if enough ppl. keep asking high prices for clean examples, this will simply increase the price of mint e30's.

It was designed as a cost gap to get some sales back from the Hot Hatch craze of the late 80's. it put the e30 into a lower price range that they lacked when the 325e and the 318i were killed off, plus with the face lift it allowed them to continue selling the older cars when the E36 was selling in EU and the rest of the world.
