Considering US cars were loaded with options, most cars came with vinyl/leather which makes the cloth somewhat rare. Many have worn out or have been swapped out by now too. Kind of like Cardinal interior, people used to give them away. Because of this, nice cloth or cardinal seats are now "rare." There's a reason some things are rare but if you like the checkered/houndstooth cloth or cardinal, that's cool. I don't think the covers are NLA yet."I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj

There's two different zinno e's for sale in my neck of the woods, both are automatics. No takers on either one. One is a single-owner car and clearly well cared for. I passed on it because I thought it was "too nice" to mod or do a 5spd swap to. The other one is also a one-owner, but is sitting at a dealer's lot. The are both in the 100-150K miles range, not 29K.'90 zinno 325iSComment

I'm not up on cover status but I have found yardage of that cloth to be readily available in Europe.Considering US cars were loaded with options, most cars came with vinyl/leather which makes the cloth somewhat rare. If it were an iS in similar condition and you weren't poor, I would say worth it. I couldn't pay that much for a car with diving boards or a 2.7.For all things 24v, check out Markert Motorworks!Originally posted by mbonanniI hate modded emtree, I hate modded cawrz, I hate jdm, I hate swag, I hate stanceyolokids, I hate bags (on cars), I hate stuff that is slowz, I hate tires.

There's a member here that has a pristine Alpineweiss 87 325is with no mods and has less than 30K miles on it. He's had it for sale a few times and most balk at it. Guess the time is right.
I would say that a super low mileage E30 would be a lot more fun to drive than a comparable costing new car, ie a Kia Rio or a Hyundai ?Comment

A new e30 would, but even with low milage, bushings dry out, dampers start to fade, springs even start to loose their tension. A completely refreshed low milage E30 would be more fun for most of the users of this site. There's a member here that has a pristine Alpineweiss 87 325is with no mods and has less than 30K miles on it. I am in no place to pay $16k for a 20 year old car (No warantee) but I won't question those that are.For all things 24v, check out Markert Motorworks!Originally posted by mbonanniI hate modded emtree, I hate modded cawrz, I hate jdm, I hate swag, I hate stanceyolokids, I hate bags (on cars), I hate stuff that is slowz, I hate tires.
