Lol! yeah you would think. My wife ended up putting like 18,xxx miles on the e30 in less than a year. I was like WTF!!! We had just picked it up in 2008 with only 26,000 miles then when i go and drive it one day I look and see 45,xxx. I was so pissed. But, oh well it's already done.

yeah I know, I'll be one of those old guys that has a cool classic sitting in the garage waiting to pass it to a worthy son or daughter. Well by then hopefully I'll have one for all 3 of them.:p

                Maybe Bav auto .

And maybe a couple of Local Ne30 meets . My car is kinda beat so there's not much of anything to show off. There's a local meet around here every Wednesday night called "Vomit Lot" and it's basically a shit ton of MK4 Jettas and local retard E36 kids. It looks like the Internet Vomited all over the parking lot. Hence "Vomit lot"

I go to the Vintage and try to go to Bimmerfest East. I can't stand local riff raff meets with all the primer ricer stuff around here. 16 year old trying to tell me about cars when their Honda has no exhaust and won't idle. Go home.

Even the local auto-x gets flooded with turd burglars since all the ricers discovered it. Takes like 3 hours to run through one class. This is why I've taken to off roading. I can do it when I want, and there are no shitty car owning high school juniors there trying to tell me how to work on my cars.

I occasionally hit up the local cars and coffee, but that's about it. Fortunately there's a great autox group here, so I'm out there a lot.

I would, but the only ones in my area consist of a bunch of camaro and mustang guys circle jerking.

TBH, I go and set them up only to meet up with friends and BS. Here in Cali, life moves too fast, even with a once a month meet., everyone there seems to enjoy checking out everyone else's projects or abortions, so why not. :giggle:

With that said, Lambo was out to Cali a few months back and I think he noticed that everyone here is pretty cool IRL., we're just douche-nozzles on the net, hell, sometimes we'll try to set something up if we got somebody from out of state, just so they feel welcomed.

I go to my local Cars and Coffee, but I'm starting to second guess that decision. I've got a fairly clean (read: not rusty) but aesthetically ugly (unpainted fenders, bumper that doesn't match) E30 that I built as a track car. It feels somewhat strange because everyone else there has fairly high end hardware and they have zero interest in lapping or wrenching, etc. I just don't find it fun.

I'd rather just go to an open lapping night at my local track, turn some laps and chat with people between sessions.

At least around here. I love out of state events as its like a mini vacation to go hang with friends and meet new people.
                            V@V. Perfect example.
I'm down for that meet. Theres a winery meet next weekend which I may attend, but other than that no way.

I have to report back once I go to a well sorted show. As I have been to only one big scale one. Gfest was nice to see people, but it felt unsorted and nothing to involve anyone. I heard that Bimmerfest was not worth the drive, so I did not attend that. I just do not really enjoy walking around looking at cars.

Everyone's car being in better shape than mine really killed it for me ;) From San Diego to the e30 picnic is a pretty wicked adventure and the best crowd!
