I have wrongly accused their products as not being good. But I think the problem is people like me order their performance/ upgrade parts and dont know how to properly install them, and instead of blaming myself I blamed the product.
My .002, I do fell that if they included some simple instructions with a few of their various parts problems would be solved.
I love that people ask stupid questions so I dont have.

I have been using IE products for 7+ years now. I have no complaints. Between my personal cars and cars through work I've probably bought almost everything in their E30 catalog. I've used their subframe and trailing arm bushings in a TON of vehicles with no complaints. I will say that their recent bushings look even BETTER than the old ones.

I for one am very happy to support a small company like IE who is STILL willing to support the E30 chassis and continues to produce new products and improve the old ones. Lord knows we've bought a lot of their HD rocker arms! It's really not fair to base your entire opinion of a company on some phone conversation you may have had with a part time employee 5 years ago.

some of their parts haven't been the best - but, the good parts that I have had, have lasted a long, long time. for example:

SS brake lines - 10+ years.
            trailing arm/sub frame bushings - 10+ years

the HD rocker arms are rather nice as well.

My car has a number of IE parts.

Sways are pretty good but the finish is so-so and wears quick, but not a big deal to me
RTAB seemed to be made too big, needed "massaging" to fit
My green subframe bushings are great, no complaints
Heavy Duty Rockers are great, no complaints
Was using their billet 272 cam for a while. It's very nice
Adjustable FPR , replaced supplied hoses with better quality, made a better bracket.
Their shorty headers point a bit up to my floorpan. Would not recommend them.

I would like to add that I had an issue with an order that Andrew made painless. I have no issues with their customer service what-so-ever.

I've never understood why people want to delete threads after they get their info. Then a year later someone is gonna end up having to ask the same question. Don't edit your posts to delete information, the thread has been created, and it will stay here for someone else to get the info if they need it

You guys need to make sure you have the Actual IE exhaust, I have it and it sounds better then half the aftermarket shit out there.

There are Ebay copys that look exactly the same but have build quality issues.

Haha, well here's my two cents for the record. I love working here; been here 3 years now. Enjoy working with many on this board. I don't actively promote IE parts on r3v because my reason for being on here is as an enthusiast and not a cheesy salesperson. (the same goes for the bmw2002faq where I go by AceAndrew).

For those disgruntled people; some have every right to be upset, while others are simply harboring old wounds. As mentioned occasionally in the past, if you ever have an issue feel free to PM/email me.

I just wanted it deleted because I was obviously wrong, and didn't want to have anything out there that was bullshitting an E30 supporting company.
