I know I have seen multiple members on here banned for much less than $1000 in my short time here.

It isn't right that everyone wants to sweep the wheel situation under the rug when the guy even posted screenshots of his conversations.

anyway - Curt is in an indefinite timeout until he resolves his issues with rThor. this allows him to read and respond to PMs - not that I really think he will after ignoring it for 3 years.

I'm not commenting on this situation in particular but I've never understood banning someone when deals are not resolved. All it's doing is taking away one possible venue of communication. I mean, if the deal is done and someone simply got screwed you don't want it happening again, but banning Curt wouldn't have helped in this instance.

I actually hate to admit it, but when I was banned maybe 3-4 years ago, it actually sucked, because this is the only forum that has the knowledge, along with almost strictly e30s. bimmerfest SUCKS, I was on bf.c but VacMan has very thin skin and banned me, and I don't like that forum anyway so I never cared. e30tech is complete and utter shit because Chris dropped the ball on running that forum. R3V however, even with the douchebags, has everything. I prefer to visit this site, more than any forum at all.

To respond to my screen shots, my intention wasn't to start a "riot" so to say, it was to show that he knew, and I felt he was lying in his post about not knowing. Could I be wrong on that assumption? Of course I can, but I feel for rThor losing his 1000 dollars, so I decided to put my neck in the guillotine. I have seen threads just vanish on r3v to cover up a MOD fuckup, could I tell you specifically which one, no, so if you don't remember, you'll have to take my word for it. Now I know r3v is it's own separate forum, but STANCEWORKS, BF.C, e30tech, all delete threads/posts to cover their own asses. Am I saying Josh or a MOD will here? Not really, but just in case, I posted screen shots that will never be altered, and cannot be deleted, as stated before.

it was 3 years ago - pretty easy to forget about a thread you posted in that long ago.

there was one mod who deleted posts to cover his own ass (I think it was MOT?). he was removed and banned long ago. That is definitely not how things are run here.
