Should I trade my sedan for a vert?

I had the car for about 2 months now from bone stock to present. I gotta say i've done a lot to it in a short period of time and i'm pretty proud of it, although for some reason i just like the look of verts better somehow. What you guys think? Any vert owners out there that can persuade me to GO do it or advice to NOT do it? If i was to go that route I would like a straight trade minus my parts, kinda like switching over what i have over to the new vert. Hmmmmm.... who wants a sedan?? haha

Verts are wack. Keep the sedan.

As an only car??? The sedan makes more sense although I'm not a fan of the 2 extra doors. Being in CA, you can get away with DD'ing a vert though and they do look nice especially the facelifted ones. Tough call.

Yeah as an only car. Although i'm worried bout rainy season and safety but sometimes i imagine myself driving with the top down. I used to own a del sol so i know what it's like driving with the top gone in a warm summer day but tolerable and it makes you feel like a million bucks :)

I love my vert. Nothing like leaving the gym and dropping the top.

Cabriolets are terrific. So are the coupes. The sedans are almost family cars. My cabriolet is a genuine M Tech II so if I had the choice between it and a sedan I'd pick my vert.

verts are great. but also have tons of negative.

they are great for cruising, DD and shows. but they have a ton of negatives
you must have a garage or you will get your top cut
you cant leave anything in your car ever
                it doesnt handle as well
                they are crap in autoX
you will get sick more often if you have bad lungs
the road noise it terrible at anything about 55mph
                you cant track them
they are a bit slower than the hardtop
if it's raining outside it's raining inside
the rear window needs to be replace ever 4 years.
                the audio is 10x worse

the plus side, a top down cruise on a nice day priceless
If you get heated seats like mine you can drive with the top down as low as 14F.
you can delete the AC, the top will never be up
babes chat with you at lights
                driving them is relaxing

come drive mine and you may fall in love
                Much wow
                I hate 4 doors

I have a sedan and I love the look actually. I'm starting to dig the verts but I def would not get rid of my sedan for one. If anything if make an addition with a vert.

I might just do that too. I had too much put in on my sedan already. My biggest worry is havin it park outside all the time with the rain plus my not so good neighborhood.

I have two verts and ill never go back. had a coupe and a 4 door and well im sorry but every car meet i go to every time i get gas everyone comes up to look at it and ask questions plus u dont awals see them and its also nice to do 140 with the top down. also u can cut down on the weight with removing all the sound denting remove the lead box in the trunk get some mason bars. yeah u cant run it on a track but how many times a month do u spend at a track? also with the Hard top road noise is cut in half. and i have no leaks because i replace all my window seals.

Sorry but most of this is not true. Road noise, yes. But with a new top i have no leaks and my rear windows have never been an issue. Ive also been parked outside in a covered parking spot with no vandalism to my top. Ive also never seen signs of an attempted break in to steal my cd player either. Plus my factory premium audio with my cd player gives good enough sound to keep me happy.
