Yeah no. Buy it separately and enjoy the two completely different cars.

        I had a good chuckle...Lol

You seem yo have done a lot of work on your E30 OP, keep it and buy the E28 as a second car and enjoy both.

I sold my first e30 for an 87 535is. It just seemed like the logical next step. I started regretting it about a month into the e28. It's too heavy, and way too much maintenance.

No, like others have said, keep the e30 and buy the e28 separately, or if you want to get rid of the e30 for another 80s bmw maybe look towards an e24?

I think you'd be disappointed in the ride quality/handling. Have you ever driven one?

                  No.

Sounds like you have a nice 'vert. Keep it.

E28 is a totally different car.

I just bought an E28 and NO is the answer you are looking for. Cement truck pretty much sums it up. Buy it for a 2nd car if you can.

LOL at everyone saying they handle terribly. My e28 on cut springs with half worn out suspension handles very well.

Oh, yeah, this is an e30 site.

                          YUS.

But I blew up the CSB last time I auto-x'd it. Haven't had time to replace the DS with my rebuilt one.

so, it "runs", but it doesn't drive. OK. :D

It drives, but makes a hellatious noise from the DS bouncing around under the car. I drove it from my old house to the new one a couple weeks ago.
