So my E30 got hit tonight. :-(

So I was cruising to go get some groceries and got slammed in the right rear wheel. Wheel is toast, but tire still had air. Nice big dent where she hit it. Is this thing going to get a salvage title you think?

    Part it out? Suggestions?

That looks like a goner to me. Not that it cannot possibly be fixed, but insurance will most likely total it.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

ugh which probably means I'm going to take a big loss on the car. Shit...

Buy it back from insurance and part it out. You should not have to take a loss on it unless you have been greatly overpaying for things.

Might need some help in parting out. Never parted out before.

Ugh...it was in such great shape mechanically too. Super depressing. Back to driving the Jeep I guess.

318 parts should fetch you well. Not so many of them out there...

                            In b4 part-out po-....

                            Nevermind..

Dang man.. That does look like a total loss; anything pertaining to the rear quarters are arguably the worst spot to be involved. If it was just the rear wheel tweaked, that's easy (I've done it before, new subframe and trailing arm+hub and axle is $150 tops), but body damage.. Ugh...
                            I feel for ya man

You never know though! My current e30 was involved in a rear quarter fender bender back in 92 and the receipt for damage repair was $3200 back then. My car is still clean title, but all I have is receipts; never actually saw the extent of the damage. Could be fixable if there is no frame damage. Who knows, you may have just skimmed by. See what insurance says, just trying to keep things hopeful, you never know.
