    Shit, my locks are frozen.

Well i go out to mess around with the 325 and i find out that my drivers side door wont turn. well its 0 degrees out so yea. the passengers door only locks so im screwed. the trunk lock works but thats useless. i run into the house and grab wd40 and spray the lock down, i was able to get it to lock but not turn the other way. what can i do???

hair dryer on LOW, lock deicer, or the tried and true favorite, take a bic and heat up your key (wear gloves).

Bad things: Hot Water, wd-40 is bad for paint be careful, forcing it.

a zip lock bag with hot water.....hold it around the whole lock area...everything inside will head and melt within a minute or so. worked for me in -15c weather (not including windchill).
then go get some white lithium grease and spray it on all the hinges and inside the door locks.

Heat the car up and let the inside of the car warm up and that should get it done.

This actually works but sometimes more than one 'heating' is required. Be careful of how long you hold a flame to it....especially its an all metal key which is contacting your fingers!!! I ran into a similar issue with frozen locks a few winters back when skiing up at Lake Tahoe and a snow storm caught me be surprise. Two or three heatings of the key with a borrowed lighter got me into the car.

Ive done the heating up the key thing. It has even helped when its not ice on the outside, like when the keyless wont open it. Then once I get the car thawed its fine.
                            Im now E30less.
