Headbolts torqued to EXTREME amount (video)

I try to spend 5-6 hours every Saturday tackling various projects on the car. Luckily the car is in storage for the winter so I am in no particular rush. Patience is a virtue though, sometimes I go for 4-5 hours during the week after work.
I'm used to getting into involved projects with this car.
Lets just add everything I did this winter to the list:

You want to achieve a 6mm countersink without an angle, that tool wouldn't be my tool of choice; another stepped drill of different length/stage lengths would have been better.
I was however past the point of retooling the kit when I realized it wasnt going to work as I intended. 4 months later and the car is back on the ground and running.
During the same time I also had the driveshaft rebuilt as both U-joints were binding.

There are guys, not many, with tools that can electrically burn the bolts out. One of the mechanics I used out here would get calls to zap out bolts on rockets out at Vandenberg AFB, pretty cool OMO.

Definitely a cool process, I have actually seen videos from that place before. Its crazy what machinists can do with the right tools.
I would imagine broken bolts are a staple for most machinists and I would trust that most can atleast drill them out on center with a jig and sert the hole.Your resource to do-it-yourself and interesting bmw and e30 stuff: www.rtsauto.com
