*NOW WITH PIC* City does not allow vehicle repair inside your property?
I live on a corner lot of a nice neighborhood and do most of my outdoor work right in my driveway, sometimes leaving the car up on jack stands for days at a time...no complaints. It has to be a neighbor complaining, otherwise who would really give a shit? And you have a carport, it's not like you have it on the grass where oil could seep into the ground.

A very nosey neighbor. The gate is ~8ft tall and each iron bar is around an inch thick spaced a ~3-4inches apart. And the car is sitting about 100 ft back from that but I suck at distance estimate so idk exact.
No oil on ground/concrete even if I did spill some I use "kitty litter" that my brother buys by the ton (body shop) to soak up the spill. There was 2 things he would get on my ass about when I was working on one of my cars at his shop, organize back the tools I used and oil on nothing because it ruins paint.
Also working on registering the car. Does anyone know which form I need to use for just a title transfer ? So I dont have to bother getting insured for the hour it takes to register the car. This is in texas I found this site which lists lots of form but I am not 100% sure which one I need: http://txdmv.gov/forms-tac
any help anyone?
My don't quote me list:

I could be wrong, but I don't think it's a smog test type of thing. IIRC think it's against CA law to *sell* a dual outlet muffler as a replacement for a car that came from the factory with a single. But don't quote me on that.
Good pic. "Possible asshole dwelling" made me laugh.
Possible because they might have called it in.
FYI it was one of your cars that got me into the e30 scene (red, early model) that I saw in another general bmw forum. I got rid of my 540 for an e30.

In Illinois the title transfer form is a carbon form, you can't print one out. You have to get it from the DMV. I always go first thing when they open, in and out in 15 mins. You'll be the only one there at 8am.
