driving around with no jack, spare, or tools = LOL
because racecar!
To be fair unless I'm on a road trip, I don't have those things either.
1) I won't use the factory jack. I rarely carry a jack that I would use on a car (aluminum floor jack) with jackstands unless I'm going to work on a car on the side of the road or someone needs help and these tools aren't available at said location.
2) I don't carry a spare most of the time. My commute is short, and I don't travel far distances like, almost ever unless it's a special occasion.
3) Tools - same as point 1.
I'd rather call someone to come pick me up or bring me my tools and fix it myself. I also have AAA, if I want to just get the car home I'm always within towing distance. If I'm on a road trip, then I'll be prepared. For my usual driving habits not going to worry about it.
Removing too much has a negative affect on daily drive-ability in my mind. I did it for many years when I was younger. It depends on your climate, but driving a car that is stripped on the road isn't fun for a daily after awhile. Having a car that has strategically lightened parts (not just ditched parts) and some more power with a full interior is a better option in my mind. But that's my 2 cents.
I have this.

Umm.........removing anything isn't going to make any change in driveability unless you are driving aound at 9/10ths of the cars ability. If you are driving it like that on anything but a track, you are an ass.
It's just going to make it less comfortable and noisy.
Sorry but I disagree. The weezy little M42 currently in my car has a much easy time getting the car up to speed as well the car feels much better on a nice twisty road. This car was never all that comfortable or quiet to begin with.

Tell you what, go and drive any twisty road by yourself (you don't have to drive fast) and then try the same road with a 180lbs passenger. Report back your findings in this thread ;D
Lets face it the E30 isn't the quietest car built so removing some (not all) sound deadening material in the rear portion of the car (about 60-70 pounds worth) isn't going to making an already 25 year old car any more noisy then a few decibels louder.
I could be wrong, but I don't think it's a smog test type of thing. IIRC think it's against CA law to *sell* a dual outlet muffler as a replacement for a car that came from the factory with a single. But don't quote me on that.
Copy pasta from my E30 323i build thread. Daily the car in that condition too. 35km round trip to and from work in mixed road conditions and not once has it felt uncomfortable. I can still hear my music too.

I don't carry those in the e30 that car is only driven to work or school. So I am usually within 5 miles of my destination or home. Most road are too unsafe to even change a tire.
