    there are legitimate "generic" chips tuned by individuals, and then there are copies.

    given there is zero branding, it's most likely a copy.

      I personally wouldn't buy a chip from eBay.

        Oh- does it come with valve- spring- booster in a can???

        If you have a wideband o2 sensor and a dynamic timing monitor, sure, why not?
        Otherwise, why risk your engine on a $30 chip?

          +1. My car came with an eBay chip. I later on swapped the whole DME for one with a stock chip. Car felt and drove a ton better.

          Later on I added a Mark D chip and it felt even better than the stock chip and light years better than the eBay chip.

          The eBay chips are a total gamble since you don't really know what you're getting. I'd keep it stock or save up for a proper chip where you'll know what you're getting.

            Spend the money and get a Mark D or TMS/conforti chip.

            Its well worth the price tag.
