    RD headers finally installed

After many weeks, the E34 RD header installation on my car is finally complete :D. I just picked up the car tonight and snapped up some quick pictures:

I'm not too sure how well the thermal coating is working since the engine bay is getting really hot. There is still a little clean-up to be done with the engine wiring harness and A/C lines but that can be done later. I've only taken it up to about 4500 RPM, but there is clearly much more pull after around 3k or so.

I also installed a dual-in/dual-out cat with a custom muffler. Here are the tips:

I'll probably move the expansion tank and take better pictures of the headers tomorrow. And for all you do-it-yourselfers out there, don't try this install at home.

How good could've you hoped for? I think they look amazing!! I'm really curious to see what the dyno says (butt or otherwise) because my Stahl header gained me bottom end, but I lost a little up top. May have to look into this.... (that is if they are readily available)

              The muffler looks great :D

its funny how more people are interested in the headers appearance than their performance.
