    Lots of people use the Dana 18 TC with swaps, including 300+hp v8 swaps. It'll hold. Might want to upgrade the trans to a 4spd though, like an SM420 or SM465. The stock 3spd should handle 140hp fine though. It's strong, just not as strong as some of the more popular 4spds.

    Ha thought I would get you with that one!

    It was actually a kit car based on replacement M38 parts and a fabricated box frame. It worked out to be a really functional vehicle, I had long travel suspension and a bit more HP that made it functional over the stock kit that had like 2" of travel. I had done a lot of mods on it, I even had 911 disk brakes all the way around on it as well. 8^)

    I painted mine up with red Imron polyurethane, I don't have many pics of it and they are on film somewhere... here are a couple of pics of the original brochure to get the idea
