My mom never purchased one for me but 11 years ago my first car was an e30. She helped me out with funds to fix all the fun things that started failing as well as getting the family to buy tools for any holidays. Pretty damn cool that you have this interest to share with your son. I'm a little jealous.
I'm so confused. A mom post a gif & pic of her son stuffing his newly acquired (?) e30 into a snowbank on what looks like a public road trying to pull a sweet dorifto. If any member did this them self & posted about it I feel like there would be a lot of hate, "keep it on the track", "you could have hurt someone", "you're gonna r3v that thing in no time", etc., etc. Why is it OK for a mom to post her son driving like a bit of a hack on what I can only assume is public roadway, but if a member post first-hand about it they're being an idiot? E.g.;
Hi guys I just bought a new e30 not too long ago and it's been great! The other day is snowed a bit so I went out to do some drifting around the neighborhood, and brought my mom along with her Subaru to pull me out if I got stuck. It was so fun, here's a gif & a pic from when I totally blew a corner and almost hit some kind of electrical thing on the side of the road, lmao yolo! Thanks mom!
Unless I misinterpreted something, isn't that what went on?
Most of the posters here don't, they are college aged boys playing with cars. I'd hedge my bets that it's about 70/30 young men/grown men with a 15pt. spread either way that allows some of us to occupy both circles of that Venn diagram.
I found that out long ago when I quickly realized that most replies were completely "code in nature" or nonsensical . . . but it a good place (R3V) for them, anyway ;)
It's too bad he didn't hold out a moment and initiate in a way that would have allowed him to maintain through that turn and not end up helping the city plow that mound. But, I'm sure you will teach him that. Any plans to become a professional drifter?
He is learning, this past year he has made some basic, much needed repairs and slight mods that now allows for rally and drifting. I plan on going to driving school with him before he heads off to Parris Island . . .

Nice! He gets lots of tools, that way he doesn't mess with mine :)

1. You sound pretty angry and resentful
2. You make large assumptions which I have no desire to clarify on
3. shut up, stupid
4, Stupid? Why you ask? I am a "member" but the gray matter in your noggin failed to pick up on that big secret.
5. bought it 3 years ago for him, so no not too newly acquired . . . Stupidito
6. I feel really sorry for you.
7. Subaru??? Stupid indicator #5 . . . I drive a full size Chevy; again the gray matter has failed you and blocked my signature picture from your seething eyes.
To all the rest of you . . . thanks for chiming in ;)

because vagina. Women always get the white knight/red carpet treatment on forums generally full of males. Nothing new. It's the whole "gamer girl" thing, but in car form. Post talking about something a normal member would get flamed for? Check. Mention of sex in post? Check. Mention of sex in username? Check. Picture of themself in avatar? check!
