Well, there was a day when some guys decided to make people's life a bit easier, and they decided to start a business where they would ship cars ;)

I'm in the same dilema, I would like to paint in DiamantSchwartz or E30 M3 Silver...I thin k I will go with the silver color since it's a lot cleaner not need a lot of maitein (cleaning it every day) and hides better the scratches...

As a car detailer, I hate black cars, with a passion. They look great clean, but they take almost twice as long to buff as any other color car. I say go for black, it looks good, but yes, it does show dirt and scratches (and swirl marks) more than most colors

Lachssilber is hands down the best color on an E30. It stays clean for a long time, and always looks classy.
Both my cars are lachssilber, and it just kinda happened that way. I bought both of them when I need each and I just happened to find them in Lachssilber.

This will greatly limit your market as regular E30's are rare in lachssilber compared to how many M3's came in that color (per production #'s).

Just avoid black, its too hard to keep clean.

George, both are awesome colors......I have brillioant red, I personally wish i would have gotten black because a black e30 with the whole smoke theme is HOTTTTT. Yeah black shows dirt and marks easier but IMO it looks the best when washed, polished, and waxed because the color is so deep. But then again, TJ's car looks sweet too. Bottom line is it's really up to you, forget what everyone else thinks.

I've dealt with a schwarz car, its a pain in the ass. Even while detailing it will get dusty. And after the first time you drive it, it usually looks dirty again...

Black contrasts everything, so even poor black paint can look really shiny and reflective.

Black cars are much harder to photograph than any other car...

Let's drive fast and have fun.

I would disagree. Although it's not any easier, black cars arent hard at all to take pictures of ( excluiding the cleaning detail, which sometimes as clean as a car could be, you see some dust or w/e )

I don't have to worry about serious dusting on my diamanshwartz because my car is oxidized to hell.

Rock chips suck though. I wanted a sterling silver E30, but once I got diamanshwartz car I didn't want to go back.

i agree with TJ .. black cars are the hardest to shoot, and it is a wellknown fact .. there is no contrast between body and shadow
