Yeah, I believe Morgan's badge was the object of debate a long time ago. This is an old topic that certainly needs to laid to rest. Gees Louise.Trevor Ely

The part of this that bothers me is that people that know know it is not real and the ones that don't know it is real dont give a damn.

Most people alone shit over the thought of someone my age owning a BMW. If I mention that its got an M3 engine they act as if I can achieve warp speed. That is part of the reason I dont mention/drive my car much. Here there are only WT who will vanadalize it or golddiggers who think I am going to spend money on them.
Usually, when I tell them its 21 years old, they shut up.Im now E30less.

Are BMWs that uncommon in KS that people don't know E30s are OOOOLD cars? Here in SoCal, people refer to my car as the "old BMW". Apparently, there are BMWs, and then there are "old" BMWs. I don't attract no golddiggers with this car, no sirree.Originally posted by Ryan StewartNail, meet hammer.

they are around here. all I see are fords/chevys, subarus, hyndais, hondas and toyotas. and a fuckton of trucks/suvs. the only e30s around here are generally beaters (bone stock bronzit etas and the like), so it's not hard to stand out.Originally posted by DaveInLAAre BMWs that uncommon in KS that people don't know E30s are OOOOLD cars? No dave, people rarely actually see my car. I never drive it. Its just the group I run with are mostly SCCA clubbers, draggers, and general car nuts. Cars/racing usually come up wherever we go. I have to tell them its old. For some reason people dont think about the fact that there are old bms. It might have something to do with this being the rich kids school.
The funny thing is, at my old job that I drove to, 9/10 people thought it was a 1996. Always 96, nobody could tell me why they thought that date.Im now E30less.

my dad put an m badge on the front of his 86 euro cabrio... like 5 days later took it off and said he couldn't do it...
i don't like it personally... i did sell a 325 back in the day with an m badge on it (put on by previous owner) but i still do not aggree with it... if it has mtechnic parts that not so bad... but just a lowered bmw with wheels does not deserve an m badge of any kind.PNW Crew
