Somewhat relevant EcoBoost into a fox body.
That' gives me chub. I have never had a fox, but wanted one for a VERY long time.

here's a focus ST with 93 octane tune and intake from Steeda. deal with the file size.

I've thought of the Cosworth 4 cyl crate motors for my '76 2002 - similar to this. I wonder how hard it would be to put these in an e30/02.

Yeah, you could just put a schrick cam, free flow exhaust, stroke out and tune an m20 for 250 if not more

Its very hard to adapt the FWD version to RWD, The RWD versions in the GXP solstice and redline Sky's start at 5k, and are unique to that platform. My brother was considering this swap into a s10 and it was quickly reconsidered and rejected for the same reasons most R3v Baggy pants's would.... The power plant costs more than the car would be worth when completed anyway

torque band that lasts for 3000rpm and falls on it's face at 5k. meh.

                            I'd rather a 350hp NA Tuned 2.3 Duratec.

if we are going off bmw, I would say a LFX motor would be the way to go. GM offers them in crate form, 300+hp out of the box, 30mpg, and they are in rwd cars already

Or you can just get a turbo and have enought money left over to replace your engine 10 times over.
