No - I wish I had. The Safety Steward would not let me run my cruisecam setup unless I mounted it on a rear headrest. And I dont have rear headrests.

My final word on this - I am mostly done modding my car. Everything from here out will be repair it if its broken kind of things. The only exceptions might be if I add a roll bar and shells/harnesses. But with my son coming up on 16 in a couple of years, more likely, I'll look for an e36, a nicer e30 or e30 M3 for me, and if I go e30, swap over some of the goodies, and give him this one in closer to stock form - and that car will get the bar, etc.

i auto-x it, but i would never track it cause its too rare. thats what the 240z is for.

so I guess it's mostly for personal reasons. i think its a sick car, and i like walking out to my car every morning and going "holy fuck i can't believe that's my car."

as for the stroker; if i started off with the touring, i wouldn't have done the stroker. but i started with an eta, so I had a spare head worked, and got pistons and the 2.7 crank.
since i have it laying around, i figure i might as well put it in i guess. but i would have been happy with bolt ons and maf and a cam. i dont need this thing to be crazy. and if i didnt dump so much money into the stroker, i could have had an rb26dett in my Z by now, lol
