Can't decide, I'd take either. Both are brilliant machines.

NSX or the E30 M3?

Chicks would dig the nsx
Nerdy car dudes would dig the m3, and the nsx.
If I had to drive one every day....
Even the nsx people even have a tough time deciding.
http://www.nsxprime.com/forum/showth...paro-M3-vs-NSX
The nsx looks more like a ferrari than a normal car. So the question would be 'would I want people to think I was a rich douche driving a ferrari every day'.
Honestly.... with what I enjoy doing, mainly driving through the mountains and canyons and a little spirited driving now and again... I think the vert is what would sell me. Or the targa top.
With only 786 e30 m3 verts, 18,000 e30 m3s, and about 18000 nsx in the world, total.... I would have a better chance finding the topless nsx than the e30 m3. However if both were side by side... the ultra rare m3 vert would win out because of the car nerd pants-changing expeerience it would bring at shows along with the less noticeable profile in the real world.

They were available for a decade+ but they still didn't make that many of them. The last few years there were less than 200 sold a year.
I owned a 96 nsx-t (the slowest/heaviest one) for 3 years. I've now had an m3 (s52'd) for about 3. Different driving sensations to be sure. The nsx has that feeling of being right above the pavement with no hood in front of you. The intake in the ear out the window is great too. Its unique.
I prefer the m3 (just love the e30 shape). I would not kick a facelift '02+ NSX out of bed for eating crackers tho!
(side note: at 6'4" there was no way I was fitting in the nsx with a helmet barring racing seats dropped to the floor. My head was touching the ceiling as it was.)
Also, Q5quint, my experience with an nsx and women was like DeMuro on Jalopnik and his Ferrari 360. They couldn't care less.

Having driven the NSX (although admittedly not aggressively since they weren't mine), I have to say I was always unimpressed. They may have all the reliability of a honda civic, but they also kind of feel like a honda civic. While I am sure that when driven hard they perform well, in traffic they are uninspiring. The m3, although a refined, has a feel to it that betrays it's more luxurious (than the standard e30) interior. Even slow, and in traffic, it responds in a way that tells you it is capable of so much more.
I would go e30 m3 all day, and I'm not just an e30 fanboy, as their are plenty of other cars I would rather have for the money than an e30 m3.

From the look, the NSX will break necks as someone said it earlier, but still I will take the M3 over the NSX because I fit inside absolutly more comfortable than NSX interior.
I never drove the Honda NSX (I was behind one, but I never wanted to spend the asking price for it, it was a Honda at the end for me) but I sat in it and I felt like I was about to pilot a space ship or something like that. Too low and the seat/back rest were designed like if you are going to sleep at almost 180ยบ lolLast edited by diegom6; 08-27-2014, 08:03 AM.Euro M3'87 NogaroSilver/Euro E34 M5 '93/Porsche 993 TT 97' Euro/Porsche 993 Carrera 95' Euro/Skyline R33 GT-R
