    WHAT!!!?? Fog light $100?

I just called Worldpac and they said the foglight for my 90 325is is $100 (and that's not list!!) How can a foglight be so expensive?

Call the dealer and ask how much they sell it for.

Same thing with stock US ellips, low beams are like ~$140 each from Worldpac, etc and I see guys on the board balking at paying $100 for a whole set of 4 used ones........

      Dayum.

That is a good price for a new one. I paid 120.00 for a pair of used somewhat pitted set which was a good price.

I simply had no idea that they cost that. That's crazy though...

So Worldpac has the Elipsoids? Good to know......:)

yea the late-model fogs are reallly expensive. I think you can get replacement (plastic) lenses for them from BMP or one of those outfits

Actually that isnt expensive for a new part for most makers. Its a whole foglight. Lots of shit goes into making it. Keep in mind this is a factory tested part and not some generic piece you get at Wal-Mart.
                  Im now E30less.

Yeah, it might be a German part, but an E36 foglight is like $50. WTS. Who needs to see in fog anyway? Just crash into a guardrail, it's more economical. :D

The ugly reality of having a Bimmer. However, I've seen what maintaining a Porsche (old or new) costs and believe me, BMWs are a bargain.

E30 foglights are ellipsoidal and E36's are not. There are a lot of no-name crap E36 fogs available on the market as well.
