When Apple introduced the program GarageBand, Steve Jobs had John Mayer come up on stage and help demonstrate it. I was actually impressed, he's a very talented musician, but I agree Dave Matthews is even more talented. I believe as he gets older, John Mayer will probably mature as an artist as Dave Matthews did.

I threw my Maroon 5 Cd out of the window after scanning it once through. Blah. And John Mayor is another 'Lets hop on the lovy dovy guitar guy bandwagon' kinda guy.

Once you see John Mayer in concert I think you all would be amazed at how skilled he is with the guitar. They had these huge screens on both sides of the stage that just focused in on his hands and the guitar. I couldnt believe it was that perfect! I have so much respect for the guy. Seeing this concert front row center made it even better! :) Damn I am so starstruck now, heh. Maroon 5 has music that sounds exactly the same but I was very impressed with the way they performed on stage. Both bands have their fair share of intolerable songs but all that I focus on is the guitar skills. like i said before, it's the sexiest thing any man can do! :D

I'm a big fan of John's, but I've failed to see his extreme talent. This doesn't mean that he isn't amazing, however; his songs just aren't really the correct medium for technicalities.
