Couldn't find much checking on forums, emailed GC and they weren't sure. Shocks are still okay, so I'd rather wait it out and save a few bucks, thanks.

Last year I purchased a complete GC coilover set up during the black Friday sale they had. I believe that it was 20% discounted. So I'd wait for Thanksgiving to come around.Comment

would you rather have koni's over billies? bilsteins cost less and have a life time warranty if you save your receipt. you can also send them back to have the dampening changed as your needs change without having to buy a new set.
i have had both. i guess the adjustability is cool, but i prefer the billies.sigpic

konis ride better with stiff springs
unless you want race damping, I wouldn't waste time sending in shocks to Bilstein for revalving. you'll spend more than just getting Konis anyway.Comment

I don't believe you've had both, or you wouldn't be saying this.
On topic: I think GC has a sale in march? or I'm thinking of Tirerack's 20% off Koni sale.
Also, GC had a 20% off coupon in the GRM calendar last year or the year before. Not sure if they do it every year or not.Originally posted by priapismMy girl don't know shit, but she bakes a mean cupcake.Originally posted by shamesonUsually it's best not to know how much money you have into your e30Comment

thats an interesting point of view. i guess i just prefer what i do.
the mtech in my sig came with koni's. they are sitting in my storage shed. i had an ix with them too. they were not new so i have no idea what the miles were on them. i guess they were fine (not bouncy or worn out feeleing) but there wasn't anything that wowed me about either car. perhaps i need to ride on a new set.Last edited by flyboyx; 10-13-2014, 07:18 AM.sigpic

Hey Northern, what's the GRM calender?
I've read people say the valving on Konis are better for street and adjust ability is nice. I pass by GC once a week, main reason I want the Konis from them. Save on shipping and downtime.
Side note: I'm happy with the MR2 AGX's up front for daily, 4/4 valving is a little annoying on the street, and ABS kicks in earlier. 3/4 feels nice though, doesn't feel like I'm running 500lb springs. I think the camaro rears are valved for drag though, not handling. Dips too low, my cousins e36 m3 on billie sports feels stiffer than my car at times, hes on stock springs.Comment
