Ehh... if I was 16 I would buy, only big issue to me is jusy insurance on the salvage title one. Since I turned down my bros project e30m3 for free cause I rather have a running e30 so I can drive around. Yeah, I goofed at 16 I hardly drove that car. I would slowly work on them, just mainly suck with the the salvage title.

OP if cars are something you're interested in then go for it. There is absolute wealth of knowledge and how-to's for these cars and they are relatively cheap to maintain and easy to work on. The gap between finding a neglected E30 and a clean, well maintained one is pretty big anymore. If you can afford it, do it, just be prepared to work on it.91 318is M50 swapped

$1000 is a good price, for TWO Early model Manual cars. id jump on that. Fix one up, part out or sell the other one. Make one good one.

My ETA also did 130MPH and did Many DOnuts. I probably did more DOnuts in my 325e then I have in any of my e30s;D. But an ETA wont be overpowered and almost get you killed all the time, If I had my S50 E30 when I was 16 Id probably be dead by now.
Cliffnotes: A 325e will be a good first car, youll crash it because your 16. ANd itll probably be broken alot.
Id also Rather be broke and have an E30, then have some money and a farking Corolla. Im not like most people tho.1985 325e M50TU(Sold)
