91 318is vs 325is confussion...whats the diff? (besides eng)
Yeah if my 318is was my only car I would say Id rather have a 325is. But i love the little m42. great on gas, high revs, peppy, light nimble.
I also have an m50 swapped 318is, and a daily e46 330 so lol i dont really need the 325is :p

since no one else has mentioned it yet the 318is also has a smaller gas tank than the 6 cylinder cars

I dont think this is true. The smaller gas tanks were on the preface. All plastic bumper e30s should have the same size gas tank

Note: My 88 325iS had the 63L tank although it's not a "plastic bumper" car but it is a facelift car.
RealOEM only shows 55L tanks (the smaller ones) for the 91 318iS.
