Tucking diving boards is a pretty standard thing.

There is hardly any need for being an asshole to the original poster.

Well, some people who have the plastic ones think the diving boards are crap. And that tucking them is ghetto. I actually like my metal. I have enough time, money, and know how to swap in plasticks whenever I want. But to me they look chinsey. Guess how quickly they shatter if in a wreck. Also I have an 87. That's what it came with, that and the Mad Max front clip. It stands out in a crowd. Did you use different shocks? I used shocks from a 91 I think. Oh and the back is much easier to do than the front.

2.5mph bumpers vs. 5mph bumpers. I don't think there is going to be any difference besides the replacement price in any real crash.

I dunno, I have seen both wrecked, and the plastic ones shattered like plastic should, the rubber on the metal had to be replaced, but that was almost a facelift. I'm not gonna argue this, I get why you don't like metal TJ, but tucking bumpers is like painting bottlecaps, lets leave it at that ok?
