True enough, there are plenty of collectors of that ilk. But even those folks understand that they are cars, and know you need to drive them a little bit in order to preserve them properly.

You are all retarded. Someone needs to swap an a FWD drive-train from one of those new 1-series.

Another fun fact for you kids.

These low-mileage E30 M3's belong to Liechtensteiner kids who live in Brazil.

Whether or not they should have driven it, it must be very gratifying to have an awesome piece of driving history almost brand new. Amazing that they didn't give into driving it IMO

              MUH COLLECTOR'S VALUE

              My more-money-than-I-know-what-to-do-with fantasy:
Buy ultra-low mileage car from a collector, do a huge burnout as I leave in it and have someone film his reaction for posterity. Then drive it like the people who designed it would want me to, send a picture of the odometer a year and 10,000mi or so later and poke my head outside to listen for the screams.

I know, not everyone enjoys cars the same way, but I don't like to see a car that was designed for driving pleasure sitting in some rich guy's garage where touching it is forbidden let alone driving it. The car is sad.

Not just any burnout it would have to follow in the lines of this

But then again you Americans have no idea how to perform a burnout.

You know what. I'm calling bullshit on this. call me a conspiracy-theorist, but I refuse to believe that a 1987 e30, and an M3 (!!!) no less would have that kind of mileage. bull-SHIT. You're telling me someone bought this car, bought maybe 2 tanks of gas for it, and has theoretically not even driven it enough to give it it's first oil change (or any other service for that matter). I want to see the engine. I want to see the brakes, no I want to see the PADS. I want underbody shots. There is no wayy.

You buy an M3 to driveeeeeee No kind of nutcase could repel the force of that car!!!!

                  Rolled back.
