Not really, just looks stupid. You're combining two languages.

The last 93' Cabrios have got to be some of the rarer and more expensive E30's ...at least here in the states .

Is this the 93 that you crashed? Bimmerista found it on e bay

If it's your car there could be 29 left...if not there may be 28? or yours could have been the last survivor? I'm guessing theres at least twenty still alive?

I believe they came in red, macao blue and perhaps sterling or nogaro silver and had a complete M technic suspension, interior. Not just appearance package.
I think you mean the 91' M Technic cabrio. All (175-225) were built in 4/91 in the three colors stated above - the silver was the salmon silver. Most were automatics - this was a trial baloon by BMW to see if a cabrio with M suspension, aero effects, leather/evo M3 cloth interior would sell..............It was a $4500 option over the standard E30 325i cabrio. They ended up with a sticker price of $40,000 + (more expensive than the M3). They did sell all of them, finally, but the high price was the killer. For '92, they then made, the special run of 1000 all white/white interior M Technic cabrio's (lowered the price, [ less - M3 suspension & cloth/leather combo interior]) also, mostly automatics. This model also known as the "chick car".

The 91' (any of the 3 colors)with 5 speed is probably the rarest at probably less than 25 each. A 92' white/white with 5 speed is still very rare with probably less than 200 built.

Well the shell of the '94 e30 is built in that year and has never been built as a car. We got it last year the way it looks on the pictures. So it really is a 1994 car ( accept for the rest offcourse, that's '06 indeed ;) ).

I'm not saying that diamantschwarz bumpers are ultra rare. I realize that theres thousands of 89's with them...probably about as rare as a gas pedal in a 2 door....Just a way to start this thread, just me looking at my bumpers and wondering?...what in this mass produced market , where most of these cars are now scrap, is unique and rare enough that it would make a mass produced car collectible?... for all I know there was only one black 89 with black bumpers from the factory and therefore that one would be the rare one, laugh now and then check the sports car market of the early nineties, some little odd ball quirk ordered by the guy that originally bought the car may be the difference between your Disco'd hunk of shit and a collectible automobile. Rust bucket Ferraris that were selling for 7 grand in the local paper in 82 were worth 15 million in 92 because ony like 37 of them were made. With that kind of loot you could probably move your family inside. Of course this is an outrageous example but let me ask you this...there's one of the 30? 93 convertibles left on e-bay right now for 1700.00, it's totalled and probably headed for the crusher, How much do you think that car will be worth restored in 20 years? Now i'm not saying buy a car because of worth and value. The 15 year old whose painting racing stripes on his 84 318 with it's mazda motor is probably having better times than most of us. I'm just wondering where the oddballs are?

Officially, July built cars are labelled as the next year's model. This is universal with all car companies.

Wow. Then I must have one of the oldest 1984 318s in the US. 7/83 is my build date.
