I'm not saying the 3 door touring does not exist, but this one looks like it was photoshopped, maybe a correction in the pic, but it looks odd, the molding on the window looks patched, also the shape of the rear fender does not look right, and through the window, the car behind can't be seen, but there might be a curtain there, who knows ?.

O.K., not at all rare - shameless plug for a weekend spent with clay bar.
sorry :( I couldn't resist.
How about the M-Technic cabbies as well:
Leather covered center console, 15" wheels (non iX) and the full M-Technic cloth...pretty rare if you ask me. Here's more on the car on the BF.C thread...

i remember reading an article in european car about the silver e30 vert haveing a very small production run with about 17 left in circulation and only about ten originaly imported to the U.S. also the e30 alpina is supposed to be rare. the only one i've ever seen was my friends dad who imported it from europe while he was in the army.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

I have heard the rule (in the US) is a model year can't start before Jan 1 of the prior year and has to stop Dec 31 of that year. IOW a 2008 model year coudl have started production in Jan 2007 and will have to end in Dec 08. The 95 US M3 production run was nearly 2 years long (starteed early 94 and ended in Dec 95 as there was not supposed to be a 96- the 96 run was a short 6 months).
