Anymore details or reasoning? What were the specific models?

he prefered the exterior styling, larger horsepower, and comfort of the e36 325i to his old e30 325e. he had some more reasons too, i think, something to do with the windows?

Seriously, nice car. You should be happy with the switch. Get late 325is and do a few simple mods (suspension, exhaust...) and you will have great car that could later be modded for much more power.

I did the opposite switch. The E30 was too noisy and too much of a rattlebox for me everyday. Call me a wimp or whatever, but I love my E36 M.
