I will share what I just encountered! So for a long while my car hasn't started. Didnt have good spark so I tuned up the ignition, then it still didn't start. Before all this I checked for gas in the tank, and it was there. No fuel at FPR, okay it's probs the pump. Got pressure tester 1 didn't adapt to vaccum hose. Got $15 harbor freight one, not enough PSI. Ordered an adapter for the first one, still in the mail. Here's where it gets BAD. I'm curious if there could be a visible issue with fuel pump, and pull it. 
Looks fine! But... Why didn't any fuel drip off when I pulled it out?!
My car has 0 gas in the tank. Hopefully when I put some gas in it it starts!!!!
I learned a lot about the fuel system but what a headache!! Just learned I need to be a bit more thorough. Need to fix fuel gauge/ sender too because wow.

Now its somewhere in there and I'm not sure how to separate the halves of the housing. Worse still, I'm pretty sure when trying to separate the halves I shifted the reverse gear set away from it original seating... I don't think I have done damage (hope I haven't done damage) as it was in neutral the whole time and not spinning.
