I know that this seems like crazy $ to everyone but, I've always personally enjoyed low-mile originals with good maintenance history the most, and the ones I've sold I've always done well. I've wanted an E30 my whole life though, so probably won't sell this one.

I like to torture myself and look at this E30 every once and a while so clean. Glad to see its going to an enthusiast and one that will share it on RV3Bmw CCA # 490080

Super nice car... nice purchase. Makes my 91 318is look like a clapped out POS... and it's not in bad condition."A good memory for quotes combined with a poor memory for attribution can lead to a false sense of originality."

Ten years ago a 100k mile E30 M3 was $10k. I thought too expensive and passed. ;-)
I compared it to the closest modern cars on the road to the E30- the Scion FRS and the 128i M Sport. It'll be a while before those bottom out and rebound if ever. So, the choice was obvious. This is the best car that BMW has ever made.
I agree that this one is better choice than the 87. I prefer the M42. It's a superiorly engineered engine. The timing chain, four valves per cylinder, stock adjustable cam gears, hydraulic tappets, hydraulic tensioners, electronic ignition, etc. Sweet motor. More power and torque out of the M20 of course but I think the M42 is amazing engineering.'71 E-Type Jag

One thing I discovered is that the 14 inch tires in the original size(195 65 14) on the current market are all crap. I got a set of 15 inch euroweaves from esc tuning and got a set of 205 55 15 summer performance tires from tire rack. This is the same size as on the E30 M3 and is the euro performance 15 inch size for the 318is/325is. The 15 inch set up looks OEM stock and the tires are high performance speed rated tires.
