if and when someone does buy it... one of two things will happen... he's gunna end up selling it because of too many "oh...so YOU bought jordan's car" comments ......or he's going to try to modify it and make it his "own" and do the car no justice and get flamed left and right...much like the guy who bought Mtriple's car

Good point, it will never be as good in his eyes as when he had it. But I would probably do the same thing. I think if that happens, all that really means is he wasn't ready to sell it.

Not taken personally. :up: While it must be nice to not need A/C, I'm much happier not needing snow tires. :-D

As far as fuel economy with A/C goes it's pretty simple: At low speeds open windows are better for fuel economy. At freeway speeds the A/C is better for fuel economy.

What bothered me about the Mythbusters test is that they didn't turn around and do the test again, switching which car got AC and which car had to roll down the windows. There is quite a bit of variability in power output between the same car. Ring seal, break-in, etc. Also, they emptied the fuel by siphoning it out, but we all know that gas tanks aren't necessarily flat bottomed.

They revisited the fuel economy episode to do the same test again. This time they found exactly what Tangent said--at freeway speeds AC is more efficient. The crossover was at 50mph.

I remember an episode where they tried to see if yawns were contagious. It was the most bunk thing I've seen on Mythbusters. So many problems with data collection, etc. It was a challenging experiment to set up for sure, and really I think the payoff was quite weak. Nothing got blown up.

Yeah it's probably a POS E30 to him now. LOL J/K He got a pretty penny for his pride and joy, good for him. I saw the ebay ad, sounds like he sold it pretty well. As for his reason for selling it...well maybe he just felt it was time to move on. He'd already done damn near everything to the car.

Could someone explain this whole Jordan thing to me? I read about it all the time but don't really understand the controversy? Why would jordan posts be pulled off? Didn't he start rv3? Is this guy hated or loved? Why would the guy who bought Jordans car be hated...
