^this. People ask me why I don't get a newer BMW, I just say I like the E30 just fine. I would like a camping rig though ... an older Toyota truck or some such but something 20 years old and well maintained is fine with me.

Still have mine, haven't driven it in about 9 months though , its sitting in my Father's garage 1200 miles away. I miss it like crazy, the e34 daily driver just doesn't cut it. I'll probably replace the e34 with a 4runner or something similar soon.

As long as nobody gives me enough money to sell mine, I will own one. And if someone DOES by mine, I will probably buy another one... Im smart with financial decisions when it comes to cars

Bought one in 1998. It was an '84 320i manual and then in the year 2002, I sold it because I bought a 1990 325i a few months prior. So I have owned an E30 since 1998. No intention of selling this one.

R3v, well... is R3v, you can't do without it.

Same here. Still daily drive mine, as I have done for the past 6 years. I had an accident nearly 2 years ago and thought about going over to an e46 or e90, but ended up repairing the e30 after test driving a couple of the newer cars.

Was driving a '86 325es since 1990. Gave it to my nephew and got a "new" '88 vert. I can't imagine driving anything else.

Technically yes (84 325e), though it's slowing getting parted out. Driving an E36 M3 now as my fun car.

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

I've been without an E30 for about 2.5 years now....miss it a lot. Became a home owner so that shifted my priorities (and funding) elsewhere but now I am starting to kick around the idea of getting another E30 as a weekend car, not a DD.
