1500-2000 would be my guess. But I am known to be cheap at times lol.

I owned an 85 non turbo GLH back in the late 80's while in college. Fun car at the time but nothing compared to a CRX of the same vintage. In fact, I traded in my GLH on a limited production, brand new 89 Shelby CSX and while it was pretty quick, I kicked myself for not buying a new 89 CRX Si.

$6k for an 85 GLH is ridiculous. I paid $5k for mine in 1988 with 30k on it...lol.Originally posted by Simon SWhen a dream is a dream for too long - it becomes a fantasy..

Not everyone likes the same thing, so your opinion on it being wrong wheel drive is just your opinion...
They made them in MPFI turbo and or carb only, no carb with turbo.

I cant pay 6k for it. Its nice but not that nice. Wrong wheel drive is just an opinion, but thats fine. I am looking for a commuter car, not a race car. I am just tired of the regular civic etc. commuter car. IMO its worth more than 2k, but if I could buy it for 2k, I would do it today for the fun.

Not hating, I always joke about wrong wheel drive with a friend of mine since he is into Honda's. I have a car that is sort of FWD, I like all different types of cars. If everyone drove the same kind of car that would be pretty boring I imagine.
I could have sworn some of those old Chrysler were turbo'd and carb, but I don't know much about them admittedly. I had looked into buying a Turbo Daytona when I was 19/20 ish, but due to work and school I wasn't going to have time for it and I didn't buy it. The woman's ex husband later wrecked it because he was an idiot, kind brings the sads when I think about it.Comment

I had a Shadow CSX that broke a valve shortly after installing a Mopar Performance computer that equaled about 12 pounds of boost. I then sold the car with the blown motor. It handled surprizingly well for a front driver of its era and I sort of liked it but then moved on to a 1975 350 Nova four door that I built into a sleeper. Aahhh the good old days. 6 grand is a lot for a GLH unless its mint or modified especially well.Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience. -Mark TwainComment

If you ever re-consider, look at SHO's especially the Focus from the early 2000's. If you can find one that's mostly stock and not abused (good luck!) for a reasonable price, I'd seriously recommend it. I almost pulled the trigger on one years ago, but a shitty compression test made me decide against it.If it's got tits or tires, it's gonna cost ya!Comment

I had a SHO taurus, that was nice. I am also partial to Volvo V70R. Funny to think that today I am asking about DDing a GLH, and in 85 it was expected to be driven all the time. If we go down that rabbit hole....... we get into the "worst car you can buy today thread."
