I'd personally go for the 135i, but then I never really fell in love with the e30, just R3v. See sig.

N55 has no issues my ass, tell your friend to stop lying to you if he said that.

Direct injected, turbo, high hp engine. SUUURREE its reliable. It has similar issues to the N54, just with slightly better parts.

$230 each injectors, HPFPs every 20k, yeah, no.

E30 will be a better car all day.

I'd go after the 135i, but not yet. I had a very similar car to yours (e30) and sold it for the right price. Then I went balls to the wall and bought 8 or 9 2002s over the last three years.

I was supposed to buy a 911 Carrera (86) a few months back but that fell through. Now I'm pretty set on a 964 C2 or 993 Carrera for my next real car purchase.

If a 135i is what you want, then do it. I'm with you. I go after different cars all the time.

I personally would keep the E30. I like the 135i, it drives great especially with the sport pack, but to me its kind of ordinary. And I could never get over how weird looking the headlights look. I would rather have an E46 ZHP over the 135, its slower but looks better.

I say keep the e30 as well, especially since you've got it how you want it. I think if you were to sell you'd regret it later on. The 135i is a great car, but it's kind of too plain for me. I'm with the other guy a few post back. The only car I'd trade or sell my e30 for is a 993.

If you sell your e30 your probably out for good, especially in this market.

Well if you go through cars as much as you say you do, stands to reason you'll be dumping it eventually anyway. Might as well do it now while you already have the next one you want to jump into in mind.

135i does nothing for me, and you'll probably lose money on it, but to each his own.

Keep the e30 - if you have it like you want it you'll notice all the little things you don't like with the new one and have a ton of new projects (and regrets.) Unless you really want the new one and don't mind the projects that is.

I love the 1 series, but the e30 is better.
