What to do with spare M42?

A friend of mine has an M42 sitting around that he can't sell. We started talking and he said I could have it as long as I do something interesting with it. It's a running engine out of a 318ti so I'd rather not make it into a table.

My first thought was to test out an eBay turbo kit and see how it holds up. Put it into an E36 shell or the track car for some runs.

ebay turbo kits are basically worthless. would only run a very few select pieces from ebay turbo kit. Not worth the time.
