It was a 3 lane street we were the in the middle, the right lane was packed; the left lane was completely open

I was not tailgating, flashing high beams, or exhibiting any other forms of road rage, I backed waaaay off. All I did was simply attempt to signal into the next lane, gave it a little gas, and she cut me off

Oh, I get what you're describing. And it IS a bitch move on her part... but that's people for you. I still would have just stayed behind the van until her feeble mind had lost focus on me. That is, unless she started doing some crazy braking type stuff that would endanger my family. Then I follow her, or drop back behind other cars while calling the cops about an erratic/dangerous driver...

Today people are so f^cked up you never know who has a weapon. Look at people here talking about bats, guns, etc. I've got better things to do than deal with that type of garbage. Seen too many road rage news stories. If everything was settled with a fist fight... I might have a different opinion.

Believe me; this is definitely a lesson learned. I can't and won't admit I was in the wrong, but I am man enough to say how I reacted wasn't the most absolutely efficient decision.

I carry a gun, but I'm not aggressive or stupid. Just saying, road rage on me all you want and I'll just smile and wave. Attack me or attempt to gain entry to my vehicle and you might find out.

I know a few people who carry guns. It's not them, or you I'm talking about. People mature enough to own/carry are fine... as with anything else, it's the 2% of people who f^ck it up for the rest of us.

I agree with the suit-happy culture today. Still, the reason the US is the way it is now... not enough people had their asses beat as kids. By parents or their peers. I'm not talking about bullying... I'm talking about an attitude readjustment for acting a fool.
