Well the photography is pretty good, sure.... but to boil it down, my day is made a teensy bit better because of what they do with their consistent coverage of interesting cars and that's more than can be said for most people.

Also, just because I am not a fan of the previous trend and the evolution to a more mainstream enthusiast draw doesn't mean that they are not doing a good job.

Everything about that E9 says the 70's to me - except that shift knob. I like that shift knob. I feel like that is all the car needs to tell me that there is something special on the other side.

Yeah, that was my thought too. I had that knob in my e30 (now I have an IE stainless) and it's a really comfortable shifter. But it just looks out of place next to the clicker style window buttons.
